I‘m sure you’ve seen a pop up email plugin at work on a site before. You either love them or hate them but the bottom line is they work. If your struggling to build your list using an auto responder like Aweber or your RSS feed, then a pop up will do wonders for your subscription list growth. Building lists is, without any doubt, the most important key factor for all the Internet marketers, without a list your without sales.

I’ve been mulling over whether to keep the pop up going full time or deactivate it complety because sometimes it seems a bit intrusive and may annoy my readers. However, after visiting the Dell site recently to buy a new laptop i ended up seeing them using a pop up as well so decided to keep it.

This popup only works once per I.P address which is fine and the subscriber growth figures are significantly better than using a plain static opt in link or web form. Configuring the settings to make this pop up a helpful tool for your visitors rather than a sales pitch is far more subtle and effective.

Here’s an image i pulled off the product landing page. Don’t believe these figures? Try their free version first and will will see a big difference within a day or 2. The Pro version comes with themes, looks a lot better and includes other good features.

Growth in Subscibers Using A Pop uP

Forget the hype and sales copy when you follow the link to check out the features as 400% growth in subscription rate sounds a bit far fetched, it could actually be conservative. WP Super pop up grabs the attention of your new site visitors and fades away nicely afterward. Its like a call to action in effect, other wise your opt in boxes and sign up links just sit there like everyone else’s. I set my popup for 1 pop up per I.P address so as not to annoy new site readers.

The reason i’m using this premium plugin for wordpress is that i’m focusing on building RSS subscribers because the delivery rate to RSS subscribers is 100% compared to aweber’s 17.6%. I’m also using mail chimp connected to Gravity forms becuase Gravity forms comes with an autoresponder and mail chimp offers a free service up to 12,000 emails per month.

Consider this: You can spend $360 and buy several great premium wordpress plugins that you own OR pay the same amount every year for just one email service. I think aweber is a great email service but there’s other ways to build your list and send emails out using your own email address rather than awebers. WP Plugins Pro create Professional WordPress plugins for internet marketers.

Popup Domination optin email forms are another option and are used by many of the most successful internet marketers

Do you currently use a email popup form? Which one and how’s your subscriber growth going?
