Update : I’ve switched to Local by FlyWheel and uninstalled Desktop Server.
Desktop Server by Server Press enables you to install WordPress on your local computer.
You can install multiple instances of WordPress and easily remove them when you want to start again.
I’m a big user of my local installation to test code dozens of times a day.
Please note: You may find it difficult to get customization support from theme forums if you build your site locally. If people can’t access your code, they can’t really help you.
Desktop Server includes both Mac and Windows versions
Note : No longer works in Chrome unless you change the extension and you’ll need to add a exception in Firefox. No support for free users.
