Click Menu Icon To Show Hide Any Nav Menu

This tutorial provides the code which adds a menu icon that once clicked, displays the menu in any Genesis child theme.

The code will also work on any other WordPress theme simply by changing the classes in the jQuery which is very easy and supported for members.

There’s 3 types of code which need installing:

  1. PHP code to enqueue ( load ) the jQuery
  2. jQuery to add the click function and class for the menu icon as well as fade the menu on hide.
  3. CSS to add the icon and hide the menu.

The 1st example shows you how to add the effect to the header right menu.
