Execute PHP Function In Your Site Description

This tutorial provides the PHP code which enables you to execute a PHP function in your site description.

The code also enables you to display text before and/or after the output of your function.

Out of the box, most WordPress themes don’t enable you to add or execute PHP, HTML or jQuery in your site description:

site-tagline-wordpress

This code enables you to add dynamic text after your site title like a counter or text with updated numbers.

You can also use jQuery and HTML with this code.

The following code only works in Genesis child themes.
