Show Featured Image Description on Image Hover

This tutorial displays the description of your featured image on hover.

Here’s what the description looks like displayed over the image when hovered:

There’s 2 steps involved:

1. Modify the PHP code for your featured image to include the description
2. Use CSS to display the description text over the image.

Note: This example is tested on the Minimum Pro child theme by StudioPress which includes a portfolio-archive.php file.
