Thesis has only now released their latest upgrade to what Chris Pearson states, ‘The Best Darn Theme on The Planet’ after finding a rare display bug. ‘Not in this house’ Chris Pearson, the Creator of the Thesis theme for WordPress states as he moved like lightning to not only Squash the bug but also add some extra built in speed to increase the performance of the already fast, Thesis theme for WordPress.
Thesis is not only faster but also more advanced than the standard WordPress framework provided by WordPress.org. This shows he has a lot of respect for Thesis owners and a great attitude as proven by the way he fixed the problem within one day and added an extra for his customers that is very popular, speed.
You’d be hard pressed to find this sort of constructive attitude anywhere else which is also backed up by the excellent support from Godhammer, Phillip Barron and Postrophe (CSS Guru) who provide support for Thesis owners round the clock.
One of the main reasons i dig Thesis so much is because of what i get out of the support team in the way of knowledge. This has taught me a heap about Thesis and the WordPress framework. You just can’t buy that sort of support and training any where else in my opinion which makes the cost of buying the Thesis framework more like a smart investment in premium theme education.
‘Speed and optimization are the central tenets upon which Thesis is built’ states Pearson. If you don’t understand how to increase the speed of your site, take a look at these website optimization articles i have written based on my own improvements in page loading times and overall site speed.
If you’re already a Thesis owner, you can download Thesis 1.8.1 after logging in to your Thesis support area. Don’t have Thesis yet? Click here to see which Thesis is right for you.
Thesis 2.0 will also be released shortly in what is expected to be a major upgrade not only in features etc but also in the form of a price rise as well. Currently, existing Thesis 1.8.1 owners get free upgrades and support for life.
This blog, WordPresssites.net and my WordPress services website, WordPresssupport.net, run on the latest Thesis 1.8.1 Theme for WordPress. Don’t forget to save your WordPress menu after the upgrade.
