Adding A Widget After Author Bio & Before Author Archive Posts in Genesis

The code in this post has been written based on the following question from a forum member and enables you to create a new widget area on every authors archives.

Hello, I’m trying to add a widget area below the Bio Box on Author pages, above their listing of blog posts. I’ve got Widget Logic installed so I could setup separate widgets for each major author. Anyone know what hook to use in this case?

Here’s what the PHP code in this post generates after the author Bio box and before the loop for the authors posts starts:

Please copy ALL the code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++

You could then use a plugin like Widget Logic or widget visibility which is added with Jetpack to add a widget for each author to the same widget area which only displays on each authors archive.
