Add Icon Before or After Entry Title

Th easiest way to add an icon before or after any title is to use Dashicons which are built into WordPress.

There’s 2 simple steps involved:

1. Register Dashicons for front end usage.
2. Add CSS to your child themes style.css file.

Simply copy this PHP code from the view raw link in the Gist and paste the code at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a code editor like Notepad++.

You can use this method to add an icon before or after any title including widget titles, page titles and your site title.
