Center Caption Over Slider Images

People using the Soliloquy slider also get access to a range of useful tutorials produced by the developer of the slider plugin.

This post combines 2 of those tutorials together and shows you how to:

  1. Add HTML captions to each slider image
  2. Add a call to action button to each image in your slider
  3. Centre each caption over the middle of each image
  4. Link or unlink each slider image

Here’s an example of what the CSS in this tutorial produces:

The above example was tested on the Altitude Pro theme by StudioPress after adding the Soliloquy slider to the background of the front-page-1 widget area in replace of a default image.

You can also link or unlink each slider image to any URL.

Here’s all the CSS you simply paste at the end of your child themes style.css file before the start of your Media Queries:
