Genesis Team Template Which Includes Your Users Social Profiles in Search Results

This post contains a download link to a theme which includes a team page template already installed.

The template you can download below, enables you to specify your social profiles to Google via structured data markup (microdata) coded in the template.

The theme is a fresh copy of the Genesis Sample child theme. The only addition to the theme is the page_contributors.php template, some additonal custom functions and CSS for positioning and styling.

Your users can simply add the URL’s to thier profile page Contact Info fields like this:

The above custom fields for social links are added via the themes functions file. You can add or remove fields using the existing code. The theme loads both Dashicons and Font Awesome icons.

There’s several parameters you can use to control which users are displayed on the page.
