Add Full Browser Width Slider to Any Parallax Pro Home Section Widget Area

This tutorial shows you how to add a slider to any widget area in the front page of the Parallax Pro child theme by StudioPress.

Here’s the result showing the Soliloquy slider covering the full width and height of the Home section 2 widget area:

slider

If you want to display content over each slider image, add the content as a caption to each image. The solution was tested using the Soliloquy slider shortcode in a text widget in the Home Section 2 widget area of Parallax Pro. You should be able to use any slider shortcode to achieve the same result.

This solution has been worked out in response to the following question from a member of WP Sites:

I’m using meta slider in section 2 and need to make the width of the slider full browser width, not the wrap width. Any idea what css I need to edit?
