This code enables you to remove the hyperlink from the site title in Genesis child themes only.
It only removes the link when using the Site Title and not when using the Header Image via the WordPress customizer.
There’s many ways to do this using regular expressions however the code in this tutorial doesn’t use that method as it’s not very efficient.
You’ll find at least 3 different solutions to choose from which should give you a better understanding on how it works as well as more options to choose from if you want to modify the code.
