Monochrome Pro Front Page As Page Template

The template in this tutorial enables you to create a page exactly the same as the front page of the Monochrome Pro theme by StudioPress. You can use the template on unlimited pages and change the content displays in each of the 4 sections.

Custom Fields

Here’s a example of how to setup the 4 custom fields for each section.

There’s 2 steps:

Create a custom field and copy & paste the demo HTML from the Gist below into each field.

Note: You will need to swap out the links for each image in the HTML for sections 3 and 4. The flexible widget classes are hard coded into the PHP code for each section the front-page-copy.php template file. You can change these classes if you want to display content different to whats in the demo.
