Genesis Masonry Archive Template With Image Hover Overlay

This masonry archive template enables you to overlay the entry title, image description or image caption on hover. Its coded with 2 fallbacks so the caption displays, if added otherwise the image description displays. If neither is added, the entry title displays.

By default the template is named front-page.php however you can use it on any archive page type by renaming the file using the WordPress Template Hierarchy.

Watch the following video demo to learn how easy it is to use this template on archive pages in Genesis child themes.

Demo Video

Shows how you can add a featured image and include either the image description or image title which will display on image hover otherwise the post title is used.

Note : For use on archive pages other than the front page, you might need to add 1 line of code from these code snippets to remove the archive title/description.
