This code checks if the author has a Gravatar image and displays the author box before the loop on the author archive page of any Genesis powered website.
Otherwise, no box is shown regardless of the default settings on the Users > Profile screen.
The video shows the code overriding the user profile settings for the author box when the author has no Gravatar.
Add the PHP code to the end of your Genesis child themes functions file.
