Installation

1. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
2. Go to Flash Banner to configure your countdown timer
3. View Flash Banner > Stats to see analytics and performance data

Usage

Admin Configuration

Navigate to Flash Banner in your WordPress admin to configure:

General Settings

• Enable Countdown Banner: Toggle the banner on/off
• End Date: Set the countdown end date
• End Time: Set the countdown end time

Content Settings

• Text Column 1: First text column content
• Text Column 3: Third text column content
• Button Text: Text displayed on the button
• Button URL: Link destination for the button
• Button Description: Description text above the button

Style Settings

• Background Color: Banner background color
• Text Color: Text color for all text elements
• Font Size: Base font size for text elements
• Padding: Internal spacing of the banner
• Button Background Color: Button background color
• Button Text Color: Button text color
• Button Hover Color: Button color on hover
• Button Font Size: Font size for button text

Frontend Display

The countdown banner appears as a fixed element at the top of your website when:

• The banner is enabled in settings
• A valid future date and time are set
• The countdown has not expired

The banner automatically hides when the countdown reaches zero.

Analytics & Statistics

Navigate to Flash Banner > Stats to view detailed analytics:

Overview Cards

• Total Banner Views: Total number of times the banner has been displayed
• Total Button Clicks: Total number of button clicks
• Click Rate: Percentage of views that resulted in button clicks

Daily Charts

• Daily Banner Views: Bar graph showing banner views for the last 30 days
• Daily Button Clicks: Bar graph showing button clicks for the last 30 days
