Custom Order Summary Text for WooCommerce Block Checkout

The Block Checkout Order Summary Text plugin for WooCommerce enables you to customize the text and appearance of the order summary section in the WooCommerce block-based checkout.

The custom fields added by this plugin enable you to add content to :

1. Product names – Before and after the product name for each product, within the wc-block-components-product-name div.
2. After the Order Summary block – You can add content to a new table row added to the end of the default order summary block within the wp-block-woocommerce-checkout-order-summary-block div.

Content can be added :

• Using global settings added to the WooCommerce > Checkout text settings
• Using the custom Checkout Text tab added to the single product data tabs for every product data type

== Settings Documentation ==

The plugin provides two main areas for configuration: Global Settings and Product-Specific Settings.

= Global Settings =

Navigate to WooCommerce > Checkout Text to access the global settings:

• Enable Custom Text: Toggle to enable/disable the custom text feature globally
• Global Custom Text: Enter text that will appear after the order summary for all products (unless overridden by product-specific settings)

= Product-Specific Settings =

In the product editor, you’ll find a new “Checkout Text” tab with the following options:

• Enable Text: Toggle to enable/disable custom text for this specific product
• Custom Checkout Text: Enter text that will appear after the order summary for this specific product
• Enable Item Name Suffix: Toggle to enable/disable a custom suffix for the product name
• Item Name Suffix: Enter text that will be appended to the product name during checkout

= Settings Hierarchy =

1. Product-specific settings take precedence over global settings
2. If a product has custom text enabled, it will use its own text instead of the global text
3. If a product has custom text disabled, it will fall back to the global text (if enabled)
4. Item name suffixes are always product-specific and have no global setting

= Usage Examples =

1. Global Message: Set a global message like “Thank you for your purchase!” that appears for all products
2. Product-Specific Instructions: Add specific instructions for certain products, like “This item requires assembly”
3. Product Name Enhancement: Add suffixes like “Premium Edition” or “Limited Stock” to product names in the checkout
