This PHP code enables the storeowner to use a different product title on archive pages like category, tag and other shop loop archive page types. This way you can show a custom title which is different to what’s shown on the single product page.
Adds a custom field to the single product page data General tab so you can input your custom product name for archive pages.
Updated : Also adds a custom field to the variable product screen at the end of the product inventory tag for variations.
Note : You can use this code with ACF, custom fields native to WordPress or any other custom field solution as long as the custom field key matches what’s uses in the code.
Installation
Install the zip folder as a new plugin or copy and paste the PHP code to the end of your child themes functions file or custom code snippets plugin.
