The code in this plugin enables you to allow downloads on the single product page for simple and variable products. The plugin adds a custom tab under the Inventory tab with 2 settings which :
- Enable free downloads for this product.
- Allow downloads only if the customer has purchased.
The settings enable you to allow downloads on a per product basis without the need to checkout.
The code in the plugin also changes the add to cart button on shop page archives to download based on the settings so users can click the button and download on the single product page for both variation or simple products.
Downloads are displayed in a list like this which you can customize to your own liking :
Setup
- For simple products, check the downloadable checkbox and add your link(s).
- For variable products, create your variations, check the downloadable checkbox for each variation and add your links.
Works with block and non block themes.
