Email Coupon To Customer Based on Single Product Quantity WooCommerce

This plugin for WooCommerce enables you to automatically send an email to customers who purchase a set quantity of a specific product. The plugin adds the following settings which mimic all the default WooCommerce coupon settings plus adds some custom fields.

There’s settings for :

• Controlling what triggers the emails containing the coupon
• Controlling the coupon usage which includes all default WooCommerce coupon settings.

Here are some of the settings added once you install the plugin. A full list of settings can be seen in the above screenshots.

Update : New setting added to trigger email based on minimum order amount.

Product Selection :

• Admin can select a specific product from the store that will trigger the coupon.
• Only purchases of this product are considered when evaluating whether the customer qualifies for a coupon.

Quantity Threshold :

• Admin can set a required quantity for the selected product that must be purchased in a single order to trigger the coupon.
• The coupon will only be generated if the customer purchases at least the specified quantity.

Discount Type :

• Admin can choose between two types of discounts:
• Percentage Discount: The coupon gives a percentage off the total price.
• Fixed Amount Discount: The coupon gives a specific dollar amount off the total price.

Discount Amount :

• Admin can define the amount for the discount, either as a percentage (e.g., 10%) or a fixed dollar value (e.g., $5).
• The discount amount is applied to the order once the criteria are met.

Email Customization :

• Admin can customize the email subject to reflect the desired tone and message (e.g., “Thank You! Here’s Your Discount Coupon”).
• Admin can fully customize the email body, with placeholders which also work in the email subject line to personalize the message :
• {first_name}: Customer’s first name.
• {product_name}: The name of the product that triggered the coupon.
• {coupon_code}: The generated coupon code.
• {quantity}: The required quantity for the product to trigger the coupon.
• (coupon_expiry}: The expiry date of the coupon.

Coupon Expiry Settings Type :

• Relative Expiry: Set a default expiry date (e.g., 30 days from the order date).
• Fixed Expiry Date: Set a specific calendar date for the coupon to expire.

This flexibility allows admins to control the validity period of the coupons.

Automatic Coupon Generation and Emailing :

• After the customer completes their order and meets the quantity requirement, the plugin automatically generates a coupon.
• A personalized email containing the coupon code and discount details is automatically sent to the customer’s email.

Usage Limits :

• Each generated coupon is limited to one-time use by the customer.

Easy Admin Interface :

• A simple settings page is available within the WordPress dashboard for admins to configure the product, quantity, discount settings, and email template.
• Admins can manage all coupon-related configurations in one central location.

Usage

There’s only 3 steps once you activate the plugin :

1. In your WordPress Dashboard go to WooCommerce > Settings > General, scroll down the page to Email Coupons and check enable the use of coupon codes the click Save Changes
2. Configure the plugin settings and save changes
3. After you place an order above the Quantity Required to trigger the coupon, go to WooCommerce > Orders and change the status of your order to complete as its probably on hold due to payment not made for testing.

Note : When testing, make sure you mark the order status as complete otherwise the coupon email will NOT be sent!. It’s also best to use an SMTP plugin as WooCommerce doesn’t support sending emails as well as it could.
