Email WC Coupon Code Based On Taxonomy Term & Minimum Quantity

This plugin sends an auto generated coupon code via email to customers who purchase a product in a specific category. The plugin adds a settings page where you can easily configure the coupon to be emailed based on :

• Selecting one or more products
• Selecting a default WooCommerce taxonomy like product category or tag
• A minimum order quantity

You can also brand your coupon codes by adding your own brands prefix before the code like WPSITES_123456

The coupon discount type can be set discount as :

• Fixed amount
• If fixed, enter a fixed amount
• Percentage

Email configuration enables you to :

• Enter a custom email subject line
• A custom email message
• Shortcodes which can be included in your message for your customers first name and coupon code

Coupon settings for expiry include :

• Expiry by fixed date by selecting the date from a calendar
• Expiry by a set number of days after purchase

Exclusions include :

• You can blacklist one or more products to exclude them from coupon usage.
• Exclude the product category for the product they purchased from coupon usage so customers cannot use the coupon to purchase the same product

• Works with all taxonomy terms for WooCommerce products and product_variation post types.
• Higher deliverability is achieved by sending plain text emails which increase inbox rates

Setup

• After plugin activation, you’ll find a new top level menu item named Email Coupons. Click this link to access the settings page and configure the settings to your own requirements.

Note : When testing, make sure you change the status of the order to complete because the email for the coupon is only sent after payment is received and the order is complete. When orders are placed without payment, the status is on-hold resulting in suspended coupon emails. A SMTP plugin may also be required for testing email notifications.
