This custom code enables you to change the price of products for the 2nd and subsequent items leaving the 1st item at a different price. This way you can add a quantity discount when more than 1 item is added to the cart. The discount is shown on the cart page in the cart totals table and also on the checkout page in the Order table as seen in the following screenshots and demo video.
A custom number field is added to the Single Product > Product Data – Single product > General tab enabling the shop owner to add a flat rate discount ( Dollar Amount ) for each product.
Installation
Copy & paste the PHP code to the end of your child themes functions file or custom functionality plugin.
