This plugin programmatically renames WooCommerce product image filenames using the Yoast SEO focus keyword or focus keyword added to products focus keyword custom field.
The plugin adds 2 settings pages under the Image SEO menu item in your WordPress Dashboard enabling you to change the product image filenames for new and/or existing products to match your focus keyword.
Works with the Yoast SEO focus keyword or your own focus keyword.
Once you install and activate the plugin, you can follow the usage instructions.
Usage
- Navigate to the Image SEO menu item in your WordPress Dashboard
- On the Image SEO page, check the box to use the Yoast focus keyword or custom field keyword
- Click Save Changes
- Click the Batch Update menu item to update all existing product image filenames based on the Image SEO settings. If this settings is checked, the plugin will batch update all existing product mage file names with the Yoast focus keyword if not empty otherwise it will use the focus keyword added to the single product page. If none added, the filename remains unchanged.
