This mini plugin replaces the product name and product description with numbers when using the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin by WooCommerce. The plugin :
- Replaces the product names on PayPal with the order id
- Removes the description for simple & variable products entirely from PayPal
- Replaces the product names on order emails with the product ids
- Removes the item data for variable products from order emails so only the product id is shown
- Product names for order details are also changed to the product id on the order confirmation page and My Account Orders page.
- Works with both simple and variable products.
You can also remove the product name & description entirely from PayPal receipts like this :

In the above screenshot, product names are changed to product ids and product descriptions including meta data for variations are removed.

Modification
The code in the plugin is easy to modify enabling you to customize whats shown on PayPal receipts and order emails if needed. Support for small modifications is included.
