Add Social Icons Widget to Nav Menu – 2 Methods

This tutorial provides the PHP code you can simply add to your child themes functions file to display social icons in the nav menu.

Includes 2 different methods which achieve the same result.

There are a number of different ways to do this however this solution enables you to add any widget in any nav menu in any theme.

In this specific example, we’ll be using the Simple Social Icons plugin which generates a widget for the icons.

The method in this tutorial is very unique and most people would not have seen it done this way before.
