Progress Bar With Percentage Read On Scroll

This code extends the code in this tutorial which adds a horizontal scroll bar at the top of the Genesis site header.

The jQuery includes dynamic text for the percentage scrolled which is added in the bar like this :

Tested using the Genesis Sample child theme by StudioPress.

Installation #

There’s 3 steps relating to usage of the code in the download folder :

Step 1 : Copy & paste the PHP code from the functions.php file to the end of your child themes functions file or template file.
