3 Ways To Change User Roles

Here’s a quick tip giving you a few options to choose from if you need to change a users role.

1. You can go to Users and edit the user role you want to change in the dashboard.

The drop down menu will list all the roles you can choose from for each user.

2. If you want to use code, you can grab the users I.D by hovering over the edit or delete link for the user and looking in the status bar. Then swap out the 2 with the users I.D in the following code in your child themes functions file:
