2 Ways To Open Post Tag Archive Links In A New Window

This tutorial provides 2 slightly different code snippets which enable you to open the post tag archive links in a new window. You can open all post tag links in a new window or conditionally load the code so only links on single posts or archives open in a new window.

Shows clicking the post link named Demo-Tag next to the tagged text opens the tag archive page in a new window.

You can also use this code to open any type of links in a new window or the same window by making one simple adjustment, the instructions for which, are included below for members.

Tested using the Genesis Sample child theme by StudioPress however the code works in any WordPress theme.
