In this tutorial, i’ll show you how to install WordPress using Fantastico De Luxe or Deluxe as some spell it.
You’ll find Fantastico Deluxe under the Software section in your web hosts control panel (cPanel).
If you haven’t yet chosen a web host, i recommend these 3 WordPress hosts as the best for installing and hosting WordPress.
You’ll find the link and login details to your web hosts cPanel in the New Account information or welcome email you receive immediately after you sign up for a hosting plan.
Looks something like this:
Control Panel & FTP Login Details
Username: yoursite2 (MUST BE ENTERED LOWERCASE)
Password: ABc123YtE (case-sensitive)
Server Name: ns1.websitehostserver.net
Server IP: 107.6.130.200
Control Panel URL: http://www.bluehost.com/login/

WordPress Installation Video
Step 1) Login to cPanel by clicking the Control Panel URL and entering your username and password located in your new account info email.
Step 2) Scroll down to the Software section in cPanel and click the Fantastico De Luxe icon
Step 3) Once you’ve clicked the Fantastico De Luxe icon in cPanel, you’ll arrive at a screen which looks like this:
Step 4) Click the WordPress link and you’ll arrive at this screen
Step 5) Install WordPress – Select your installation location
Install on Domain – If you have multiple domains, select the domain from the drop down menu which you want to install WordPress on.
Install in Directory – The most common location to install WordPress to is the root directory so you don’t need to insert anything in this box.
If you need to install WordPress in a sub directory, enter the name of the directory folder in the box. The sub directory will be created automatically and should not be named the same as any other directory.
Step 6) Admin access data – Enter a username and password for access to your admin area.
Tip: For security purposes, its advisable to enter at least 20 digits for both your username and password. This make sit very difficult for automated software to try and hack into your site.
Base configuration – Its important to enter an accurate description of the content you will be adding to your site here. You can also add the name of your site and email address
Step 6) Finish Installation – Check you have entered the correct installation location and click Finish Installation.
Step 7) Installation complete – Now that you have successfully installed WordPress on your web server, you’ll find the login details to your dashboard area. Here you can start to add content to your site and write your first blog post.
To login to your dmin area (Dashboard) simple type your domain name and add either of these to the end of it:
