- FTP server address, username & password
- An FTP program like Filezilla or FireFTP

What’s the difference between installing wordpress and uploading it to your web host and using the 1 click WP installation feature that most web hosts have these days?
Do you still need to edit the wp-config.php file if you use the 1 click WP installation?
The one click auto install creates a database and connects it using the wp-config.php file automatically rather than having to edit the file with the new db details you get when you create the db manually
oh ok, and does it grant all previlages to the user it creates?
