This tutorial provides the HTML and CSS which enables you to create rolling links like what you see on Codrops. The CSS & HTML has been taken from Codrops and modified.
The code produces something like what you see on the 2nd demo however for links and not nav menu items.
You can also add different text which is shown on hover.
