Display Gallery of a Projects Contributors From Remote Server

This template for Genesis enables you to display a list of contributors from any Github project in a gallery like this:

This template uses the native WordPress gallery classes.

This means you can simply change gallery-columns-6 in the templates PHP code to any other number of columns like gallery-columns-3

You can also pull in contributors from other API’s like WordPress.

The code uses wp_safe_remote_get which enables you to fetch the data for each contributor from a remote server. In this case its Githubs API = api.github.com.
