This template enables you to show the full content of each entry on the search results page in any Genesis child theme. The code over rides the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives > Display settings as well as any custom code added in your child themes functions file or any other file.

I copied this code to my search.php file and added the code to the functions.php file – and I am still getting an excerpt for the search results page when I want the full content.
The code is tested using the Refined Pro theme as seen in the demo video.

The video shows the Genesis content archive settings configured to display excerpts on all archives however the search results page shows the full content.
