Remove Featured Image From Specific Archive Entries

This code adds a checkbox to all single post edit screens which enables you to remove the featured image from any/all archive pages.

Shows the checkbox added to the Edit Post screen enabling you to remove the featured image from archive pages for specific posts.

Tested using the Genesis Sample & Generate Pro child themes by StudioPress.

Code Installation

After you access the download folder for logged in members, there’s 2 steps :

Step 1 : Upload the file named archive-thumbnail-checkbox.php

Step 2 : Copy & paste the single line of PHP code from the functions.php file to the end of your child themes functions file.
