Using Different Nav Menu’s On Specific Pages & Posts

Have you ever wanted or tried to create different menu’s for different pages and posts?

Wouldn’t it be a great idea to only display menu items which relate to the specific page your readers are on at the time?

Well know you can quickly and easily customize any page or posts navigation menu using the free WooDojo plugin.

Once you install the plugin, you’ll find a new module in all your Edit Post & Edit Page screens immediately below the Categories module.

Custom Menu for Page and Posts

How good is this?

Let me know what you think about this new feature in the comments and please share your experiences if you have used this feature on your own site. Provide a link to the specific page/post as well if you wish.

Create Different Menu’s

First step is to create different menu’s like you normally would in the default menu screen.

Here’s a complete beginners guide to using WordPress navigation menu’s.

Custom menu’s

Once you have created the menu’s you want to use on individual post and pages, simply select them using the new Custom Menu’s module in your Edit Page/Post screen.

Custom Menu's

You may use this feature for as many menu’s as your theme supports. Some theme’s support only one menu, and some support 3 or even 4 menu’s.

All themes do allow you to create as many different menu’s as you want.

What’s been your experience using menu’s in WordPress?

Have any tips to share about creating custom menu’s on different pages and posts?
