Adding live chat on your WordPress powered site is a great way to turn your site visitors into customers or clients.
This is especially true if you’re running an eCommerce site or you include pages which offer your products & services.
If your site is your shop then you’ll want someone there to answer questions and provide service when they arrive at your shopfront.
Snap Engage is a live chat program which you can install manually using code or simply install the WP Snap Engage plugin for WordPress.

Plugin Description
This plugin will add the SnapEngage Web Chat plugin to your installed WordPress plugins folder.
You’ll need to create an account with SnapEngage. Go to the Snap Engage website
You can then setup the configuration options for this plugin and start using SnapEngage Live Chat on your WordPress website.
Installation
- Download the snap engage zip folder & upload it into your plugins folder
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Installed Plugins’ menu in your WordPress admin screen
- Navigate to Settings > Snap Engage and click the link to copy and paste your Widget I.D
Click the Find your SnapEngage widget I.D here link & copy and paste the I.D into the box and click Save.
Snap Engage can be used with Skype, Gmail and many other popular live chat programs.
I tested this plugin on my test site and its works fine.
