WordPress 3.4 now allows you to embed your tweets directly into your posts and pages without the need to install a plugin like twitter embeds or blackbird pie.
All you need to do is locate the tweet
Click the time stamp or date which will take you to the individual page for that tweet.
In your browsers address bar copy the url and paste it into your editor.

Make sure the link doesn’t create a hyperlink or automatically add html tags.
