This page template for Genesis includes a custom layout which displays like this:
main content area > primary sidebar(custom) > full width widget area > 2nd main content area > 2nd primary sidebar(custom).

The solution includes a 2nd wp editor as well as a custom text box. You can use either which are displayed or hidden using the screen options menu.
