Add Existing Background Image To Existing Widget Area – Workstation Pro Front Page

This tutorial enables you to use existing background images as the background to existing widget areas.

In this case, we’ll use the Featured Section 1 Image as the background to the front page 1 widget area in the Workstation Pro child theme by StudioPress.

This method will also work in other themes with existing or custom background images.

Installation – Support Included #

There’s only 1 step :

Step 1 – Upload the front-page.php file from the download folder to the WorkStation Pro themes root directory replacing the default front page template.

The following screenshot shows the code additions/modifications to the front-page.php file.
