Add Smooth Scrolling To HTML Bookmark Links In Genesis

This code enables you to create your own HTML bookmarks ( Scroll Points ) in the editor of any Genesis child theme and add smooth scrolling to each section.

Or, install the code so its adds smooth scrolling to existing HTML bookmarks you have already setup to jump to specific sections on a page.

The code also includes HTML which generates inline nav menu links exactly the same as the genesis nav menu in your theme.

Code Installation

After downloading the zipped folder for members below, there’s 3 steps to install the code :

Step 1 : Add the following HTML to your WordPress editor.

Step 2 : Add the folder named scroll to your child themes folder.

Step 3 : Copy & paste the PHP code from the scroll.php file and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file.
