Add MP4 Video Background To Front Page 1 Widget Area in Aspire Pro

Aspire Pro includes a background image behind the front page 1 widget area by default. This tutorial provides the solution which removes that background image and replaces it with a WordPress hosted MP4 video like you see in this demo video.

You’ll also find a tiny amount of CSS for Media Queries which makes the input fields for the Genesis eNews widget display 100% width on smaller handhelds.

Any way to get the video to scale to the width of the site? I did all of this and it worked, but the video is small in the top left corner (returnthestone.org). All other previous ways I did it (not as good as this one though in some key ways) scaled the video to the full width, but this one doesn’t seem to. Any fix? I’d prefer to keep your code in there and just fix the scale issue. Thanks!

    1. Hello John. When i test it using Chrome, MS Edge and Firefox, i don’t see any problems. At what width are you seeing the problem? Even on a iMac it displays fine when i view it.
