The Altitude Pro child theme by StudioPress includes 7 front page widget areas. 1,3,5 & 7 are image sections where you can add background images to each widget area using the WordPress customizer. Widgets 2,4 & 6 use the solid-section class for the widget background meaning there’s no image background.
This tutorial provides the steps which enable you to add background images to front page widgets 2,4 & 6 so they behave in the same way as widgets 1,3,5 & 7. This way you can add background images via the customizer to widgets 2,4 & 6.
The solution involves 4 simple steps which also include CSS for Media Queries so all your front page widgets look the same on smaller screens.
