Basic Genesis Archive Page Template for Custom Post Type

This post contains the PHP code for a very simple archives page template for a custom post type. It also includes the code for the custom post type.

These are the Genesis > Theme Settings i used:

And here’s the result on the archive page for the custom post type which includes some unique text using the excerpt meta box rather than the page content.
