This custom blog page template shows what you see in the following screenshot :
Tested using the Infinity pro child theme by StudioPress, this template will work in any Genesis child theme.

Shows the blog page title, entry title, featured image and excerpt in 2 columns on the blog page.
The code in this template overrides the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archive settings.
Code Installation #
There’s only 1 step :
Brad, I followed the simple instructions and copied the file to the root of Infinity Pro. I cannot see the page template selector unless I delete the current blog page and create a new one. I select the Custom Blog page from the selector and assign this page as the Posts page. But, I do not see any grid layout and the page template selector also disappears. Maybe that is its normal behavior.
If I can get this to work on Infinity Pro, is it possible to change the number of columns to 3?

I emailed you a modified version which display entries in 3 columns and includes the additional code needed when using with new versions of Genesis which has removed the blog page template.
