Custom Blog Page Logo

This code enables you to use a different logo on your blog page. You can upload the image via the customizer, add a default named blog.png to your child themes folder or select a different from your media library.

When the blog page is loaded, your custom image is loaded in replace of the default image added via the Header Image setting in the customizer.

This enables you to add 2 different images via the customizer settings.

Once you install the code for members below, you’ll find 2 settings in the customizer :

Add your default logo using the Header Image setting and your blog page header using the Custom Blog Page Header setting as seen here.

Code Installation

There’s 3 simple steps after you download the files for logged in members below :

Step 1 – From the download folder, upload the file named page_blog.php to your child themes root directory.

Step 2 – From the download folder, copy & paste the code from the functions.php file to the end of of your child themes functions.php file or add the code to the end of your child themes lib > customize.php file.

Step 3 – Add a image named blog.png to your child themes images folder.

You can then select the custom blog page template from the Templates drop down menu on any edit page screen and add your blog page logo via the customizer.
