By default, the Genesis Featured Posts widget only enables you to display the same read more text for every post displayed in the widget.
In this download folder, you’ll find the code which enables you to add custom read more text for every single post. If none added, the default is displayed as seen in the demo video.

Shows unique read more text added to specific posts displayed using the Genesis Featured Posts widget.
Tested using the latest Genesis Sample child theme by StudioPress however will work in any Genesis child theme.
Installation Steps #
There’s 2 steps :
Step 1 – Upload the file named custom-readmore-featured-post-widget.php to your child themes root directory.
Step 2 – Copy & paste the following PHP code to the end of your child themes functions.php file.
