Digital Pro Custom Page Template With Widget Background Image

This template can be used on any page and adds i widget area after the header. You can add a background image to the widget area via the customizer.

Here’s an example of what the page template looks like when selected from the drop down menu in the Page Attributes box on any Page Edit screen:

The template produces the same design as the front page 1 widget area and only works in the Digital pro child theme by StudioPress as it uses the themes existing CSS & jQuery.

Template Installation

There’s 2 files in the download, 1 being the template-page.php file you simply upload to the Digital pro themes root directory. The other file is functions.php so you only need to copy and paste the PHP code from this file to the Digital Pro themes existing functions.php file.

Simple as that.
