Exclude Specific Terms From Taxonomy List

This tutorial enables you to exclude or include terms for each taxonomy type. Its hooked in where the entry meta in the entry footer normally displays.

The code offers far more flexibility than get_the_term_list which the post_terms shortcode in Genesis gives you and displays all terms for a specific taxonomy.

The code in this tutorial is far more flexible.

In the following example, the edit page screen for the single CPT artists shows 5 terms included:

Using the code, we only display 2 and exclude the last 3 terms:

Note : If you’re using the Genesis Portfolio Pro plugin, swap out artist-type with portfolio-type and artists with portfolio
