Genesis Custom Archive Page Loop

This file enables you to create a custom loop for any type of archive including, home, category, tag, author, search and date archive pages.

You can use it with standard posts or custom post type archives.

The code includes custom fields for any type of content as well as a special custom field for adding a custom featured image which only displays on the archive page. This image is seperate to what you add using the native meta box for featured images so you can use either or both.

By default, the archive displays an image and the output for several custom fields like what you see in this image:

The file also includes pagination.

You can use the WordPress Template Heirachy to name the file depending on the type of archive you are dealing with.
