This tutorial shows you how to modify the Cafe Pro child theme by StudioPress so you can use unique background images on different page & post headers.
Based on this question from a member of the Genesiswp community:
Is there a way to have a different background image on each page in Studio Press’s theme Cafe Pro?
By default, the Cafe Pro theme uses the image added via the customizer on all pages.
The solution in this tutorial, displays the default image added via the customizer on the front page and any other pages where you haven’t added a different image. So basically, its the default site header image unless you add a custom image.
Here’s the demo video showing exactly what this tutorial enables you to do :

The video shows how you can add unique header images to different pages and posts in the Cafe Pro themes header. The default image added via the customizer and backup up in the images folder is shown when no custom image is added.
There’s 2 different solutions in this tutorial :
- The 1st solution enables you to add a custom header image to any page or post.
- The 2nd solution enables you to use the featured image in the header on single posts and single pages.
